SWBC PEO Earns First-Ever IRS Certification
June 5, 2017 (San Antonio, TX) — SWBC Professional Employer Services I, LLC (SWBC PEO), a division of SWBC, is excited to announce that it was recently named one of the first-ever Certified Professional Employer Organizations (CPEO) by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS)*.
The IRS established the voluntary certification program for professional employer organizations in accordance with the Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014. To earn the CPEO designation, organizations must meet certain tax status, background, experience, business location, financial reporting, bonding, and other requirements.

SWBC PEO is also one of only 38 PEOs nationwide to be accredited by the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC).
