SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 13, 2026)—The SWBC Foundation announces a $100,000 donation to the Witte Museum in support of the museum’s 100th birthday celebration, reinforcing SWBC’s long-standing commitment to investing in the cultural institutions that enrich the San Antonio community.

As part of the contribution, the SWBC Foundation will become a member of the Witte Museum’s Centennial Club, an exclusive group of supporters helping commemorate the museum’s century of education, preservation, and community impact.

“Celebrating milestones is about honoring the past while investing in the future,” said Charlie Amato, Chairman and Co-founder of SWBC. “As SWBC marks our 50th anniversary, there’s no better way to celebrate than by supporting the Witte Museum as it reaches 100 years of educating and inspiring our community.”

Founded in San Antonio, both SWBC and the Witte Museum share deep roots in the city and a commitment to making a lasting, positive impact. This donation emphasizes the SWBC Foundation’s support for organizations that safeguard our collective stories, ignite curiosity, and create meaningful experiences for generations to come.

“The Witte Museum has played a vital role in telling the story of South Texas and shaping how we learn from our past,” said Gary Dudley, President and Co-founder of SWBC. “Supporting their centennial is not only a celebration of their legacy, but an investment in the cultural fabric of our city.”

The partnership reflects a unique moment where two San Antonio institutions come together to honor shared values of community, education, and forward-thinking leadership.
