In doing so, he can effectively help clients plan for the accumulation, growth and protection of wealth, as well as its transfer to heirs and beneficiaries. Mark builds portfolios around research-driven analyses, because he recognizes that diversification across asset classes is essential to helping clients achieve their aspirations and enjoying peace of mind. Mark strives for optimal tax and cost efficiencies through careful screening for best-in-class stocks, bonds, money managers, funds and ETFs.
Mark strives to bring together the right people at the outset and welcomes the opportunity to work with a client’s legal or tax advisor. He meets challenges with streamlined solutions that simplify matters for clients. Mark takes a well-rounded approach in providing thoughtful and timely solutions for a variety of products, including investments, titling of assets, 401(k) and other retirement plans insurance (including long-term care), education planning, estate planning, and gifting.
Mark is a graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. Mark holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He holds the FINRA series 7, 31 and 66 licenses. Prior to joining SWBC in 2011, Mark was an Assistant Vice President/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for 9 years. Mark has served on the board of Seton Home the past 6 years, serving in the capacity of Treasurer of the board for two of those years. Married for over 18 years, Mark and his wife Margie have three wonderful children, Avery, Caroline, and Jack.
