Gil holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CPRC®) from the College for Financial Planning. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses. Prior to joining SWBC in 2014, Gil was a Financial Advisor at USAA Financial Advisors, Inc for 16 years. He is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Gil is a Persian Gulf War Veteran, awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal from both the Emirate of Kuwait & The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, and The Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal.
