— What: SWBC along with Spurs Sports & Entertainment is supporting the WISH for OUR HEROES event, Ride Texas, on its first official stop in San Antonio at Toyota Field. Twenty-four wounded veterans will ride 500 miles from Wichita Falls to Corpus Christi from Nov. 7-11. They will stop in San Antonio on Thursday, Nov. 10, to meet with supporters and rest before the final push of the ride. This event is open to the public. During the event, WISH for OUR HEROES will grant one wish to a veteran.

Riders are expected to arrive at the stadium between 3:05–3:15 p.m.
Why: SWBC is committed to supporting the WISH for OUR HEROES organization. Ride Texas started in 2011 as a way to raise money for wounded veterans. This is the first year that Ride Texas will make an official stop in San Antonio. The public is invited to join and support the veterans in this ride. Ride Texas is a fundraiser for the WISH for OUR HEROES organization. To donate, you can text “America” to the number 20222 to make a $10 donation.
