— The creators of Bark Savvy, a series of monthly events for pet parents, are pleased to announce SWBC as an annual sponsor. Bark Savvy was launched in January 2017 by industry insiders and local business owners, Stephanie Garza and Zindy Infante. The monthly events are designed to be both educational and fun, covering an array of progressive pet-related topics – from training, to safety, to outdoor fun - all of which work to directly address the three most common reasons pets are surrendered to shelters: behavior, medical, and lifestyle changes.
“There are so many enrichment tools, practical tips, and easy techniques to help pet parents engage on a deeper level with their pets,” says Stephanie Garza, owner of Pup Pup and Away and certified professional dog trainer. “Not only do we have lots of great pet parents in our community that are excited about our events, but we also have great resources. We strategically partner with local businesses and experts in various pet-related fields to bring pet parents a well-rounded pool of resources and variety of events to address all aspects of life with pets."
SWBC’s sponsorship helps provide not only the resources to offer these events at low- to no-cost for members of the community, but they also help build awareness about important services they offer, such as pet insurance.
